Wow this is great. I have contacted you people via contact form on a number of ocassions, this is Adc.
First up I am with you guyz in these fuckedup scenario that you and us are in .
I am ready to Donate a few $ , but you people dont accept donatiuons at all :P
It was good to see that you have removed the ads as well , But side by side I am worried too that how are you gonna makeupfor the cost of doing encoding and servers and other things.
I Hope you are not planning to close down your site , coz really scOrp's rips are THE BEST i have ever seen , no one can match them by miles, Others may be faster than him now but they cant match his standards , he is totally devoted in what he does.
So all in all , plz let us help you guyz , and bring back the ads if you need to and plz provide us more hosts like ifile and that too in single links.

Considering how screwed up it is, it seems that people are just going to have to get over the ads. The few affiliate programs that are left are for sites with crappy speeds. Seems in interest of all to be ok with ads, adify type links, etc if it means the content continues. It also seems like the least people can accept considering the over all pain in the rear efforts put in for our behalf.

1. There should be a way to alert you about broken or wrong links. Example: http://ld.rtify.com/591 this is the Dragon Tattoo Movie. The netload.in link however points to the Young Adult Movie. If we could give feedback you could simply and quickly fix it.
2. Please provide netload.in single links for every movie. I think it is the best hoster since its performance is stable for years. Also freeloaders get good download rates and you can post most movies in single files.

fall of rapidshare sucks - harder to find hosts for speed downloads .
these movie files are big and depending on the host - it could take all day
long to get 1 movie .
scOrp's releases are the best = is it possible to get more hosts - wupload / fileserve / filefactory still faster than most .
or share these files with other trusted movie sites - let them upload
to other hosts .
more basic dvdrip 350 MB are needed for people who can't grab the
720 releases that are 600 MB - 700 MB.
#1 problem for R5 - audio - most of its CAM audio and those should
have bigger warnings for people.
its too bad hollywood movie studios don't have 1 simple affilate program
for all these movie download sites that pays out a bit more than
rapidshare/ megaupload and was totally legal.
they can't cause they have to deal with pay tv like HBO and netflix .
it's really hard to beat free movies but its also hard when
they take forever to get.
VLC 2.0 player is out - its free and it plays all movie files like .MKV
everybody should upgrade.
top 2 movies everybody will ask for in March 2012 - John Carter / The Hunger Games - just see it in a theatre.

Hi,
Just want to congratas all the team for their wonderful releases and the great selection of movies. So I do not have to select them myself, which quite amazing. You really have great taste ^^.
But I was wondering if you would be ok to move hosting your files through something else than ddl. (Because it starts to be quite annyoing to download at only 50kbps and seeing takedowns in less than a day for some releases). And no I am not talking about p2p. There are others solutions far more easier (usenet, irc, direct connect and maybe ftp).
For usenet it would require that everyone pay a fee to a usenet provider, I am not sure it is what you want. As from what I understood you want your release accessible to everyone. So that leave IRC, direct connect but it would require someone with a extremely decent upload thus I do not know if it is a viable solution. As it would expose the host more than just uploading your files via ddl.
I think the best solution is usenet but that is my opinion.

You should drop the big releases. Ppl love 300mbunited because you offer smallsized encodes. 700++ MB is NOT small sized.
Stick to a maximum of 400 mb encodes like you did a long time ago.
Regarding hosting, i prefer mediafire, but i didnt know they make it hard for uploaders.

scOrp - yeah stay away from R5 unless you know 100% the audio is high quality.
it sucks your banned from some faster hosts - i don't know how other
movie sites get away with it.
rapidshare is near dead but there are a few sites that allow people to add a rapidshare file and it will grab it and download it - i won't mention the url
cause i don't want to spam - however the speed is less than half what
i would get from rapidshare. right now this is the only way to
get files from there.
also is it worth it for you to put up the 1080p rips ?
is there huge demand ?
right now my #1 host for downloads is ifile.it -
more people should try out different hosts - you might get lucky
and find one with full speed .
when rapidshare went down - i was sad for like 3 days .

the releases done by the entire team is quite commendable, and as stated by countless here, scOrp, ur releases are unbeatable by miles!. i always visit this site multiple times a day to see if new releases are come, and by the looks of it so does many of us.
i hope that the team would consider comments to be opened so people can comment, give thanks and so on, i know it has been abused but there are people who genuinely like to comment on the releases.
well on the topic of the file sharing sites, i am truly happy with the range of download links you guys have provided, this wont be much of a issue if you use a RPNET premium account! ive been using it for the last few months and ive been able to get myself back on track after the rapidshare incident!
finally keep doing wht uve been doing so far, and i hope that you guys can make way for people to make donations as well, we do hope we can, cos we so wanna!

i have a few suggestions thet could enhance the visitor experience :)
1.The imdb link to the movie could be a hyperlink for convinience
2. The theme/skin is kinda old now, refreshing the same with a more bright and modern one wud be great for attracting new fans
3. I'm not sure if you are deliberately out of this but havin a facebook page would be good for the traffic as well

don't forget that every day there are 6 + hours of tv shows being added
and they are easier to get ..its probably what most people grab when
they aren't grabbng movies..
also scOrp is #1 because the english subtitles are added ..
this really helps.
hollywood movie studios should really work with these movie sites
and let them figure out a reasonable way to make money
legally...yeah actors get paid the big bucks but the rest of
the crew how make these movies need some extra money too.

I don't know whether u have the manpower to do this, but could u extend ur offered releases to shows/series such as "How I Met Your Mother", "One Tree Hill", "Supernatural"? I've seen u uploading the episodes of "Alcatraz" and therefore thought that it might be possible to do so with other shows.
Furthermore, polls on a two- or four-week-basis concerning the movies that users want to see uploaded might be interesting, since it could generate more clicks on ur site and simutaneously, let u know what users would prefer the most. Of course, the offered movie uploads on the poll should be chosen by u..

But bc of bad times i have just one suggestion and that is you consider a torrent, for beggining just torrents for 720p and 1080p movies that are more then 700-800mb. Torrent file to be bounded with the links, that would be cool to see.

@scOrp my bro ! rapidshare is too slow and hanging,uploaded.to is slow too and it is hard to find premium accounts for it, I ve found that ripper named nItRo is using wupload and mediafire for some time and nothing happened to him , I ve also found that you scOrp,sUN,roNY and all others on 300mbunited have a hard time to preserve such GREAT quality in such small sizes on the movies and in my opinion. You guys are the cause I am using internet :)

I've wanted to say thank you for a long long time; and it's not just from me, it's from all the family/friends I share your rips with ( I'm the dedicated downloader since I have unlimited bandwidth usage ).
I stopped downloading new releases from torrents a few years ago when I got a warning from my ISP for copyright infringement. That's when I found your rips, and I've been here since.

1st, thanks for the great uploads! 2nd, please DO NOT move to torrents-- i specifically stick w/ direct downloads because a handful of acquaintances have been caught/warned about copyright infringement etc by using torrents/p2p type things. im not tech-savvy so i don't know if direct dl's are actually safer, but at least i feel safer.
i don't mind ads, wait times, or slow speed since i don't think i have the right to complain when i'm getting something for free-- although i do like the option of single file links (or bigger but fewer multiple links) so i don't have to babysit my dl's... at least until things get more stable & we can invest in premium accounts again w/o worrying they'll shut down the next day

First of all thank you guys, great quality in a great little size, second torrents are too easy to be tracked, so keep on the same way you have been doing until now. MF, I found to be very fast for non-registered users and MS, after MU died have taken over and every slot for every file is always full, besides it is not as fast as it used to be, the same with RS. Jdownloader helps a lot with these hosts so there isn't really a need for torrent-traking-whoever-is-downloading-whatever-it-is. THANKS A LOT FOR YOUR WORK! My biggest issue is the file hosts,servers are never idle for free users,it has become almost impossible for me to download from any of the uploading service,rapidshare wont give beyond 30Kb/sec,megashares and uploaded.to never have slots for free users......all i want is 100mb links of Mediafire for free users like me.

It is sad to say that I'm able to download other rips out there faster than your links (torrent) because I really prefer your rips a thousandfold. Never had a problem with your rips, EVER except for one movie but that was a long time ago.

You've been my favorite place to grab new releases for a long time, and I appreciate the work. Only complaints are pretty minor:
1) I, like others, would love to see more 480p encodes come back at the small size -- a lot of movies just aren't worth 720 or 1080.
2) On the 720 encodes I REALLY wish you'd change to AAC-LC 128 ABR... it's a little bigger, but sounds so much richer in most cases.
3) Single file ups as often as possible, and, finally....
4) .nzb uploads would just, flat, rock.
But again, I ain't going to complain. You're doing us a great service, and I appreciate it a lot...would gladly donate a bit to help out with costs.

Please keep the quality .. 720p and 1080p would be awful viewed on a HDTV or laptop (full screen) if they were around 300mb.
Hardcoded english subs for foreign (non english) speaking parts in movies are great.. please have more consistency.
More 1080 rips would be good though appreciate your time is precious .

try different file hosts at off peak times - usually during night there is
less traffic and speeds go up a bit ..
grab new releases during the first 48 hours - you never know which
hosts are going to slow down or delete files
scOrp should give these movie files to other movie sites so they
could put up on different popular hosts like mediafire / fileserve

You Guys are Doing excellent job and to tell you the truth you are the only source from where i am downloading the movies. Previously i had FS premium membership ( brought using your link ) but they are down and RS Changed rules ( free users speed limit to 30kbps and no resume able downloads ) making it hard to download.

I like your rips. especially those with 6ch audio. people have multichannel speakers, internet bandwith is also good, so why dont you make more multichannel videos? I think that instead of some poor stereo u can add a 6ch track with bitrate of 192kbs. I know its few MB more, but I think this is not so important in these days, right? why do we have nice sharp highresolution image, if the sound is quite poor? i downloaded once your 1080p rip with 5.1 audio. I must say that audio was horrible. u have to admit i am rigt because it was so commpressed, btitrate was for sure low. pls try to think about it.

I might be an idea to also use at least 1 streaming host.
We can use Ant Video downloader to grab the file.
And we can have a look to watch it online if we rather do that
zalaa.com ,Putlocker.com , Sockshare.com.
I like zalaa a lot cos that one has file download in free options.
And more than ones it gave me speeds around 1 MB/s
So those hosts can be really fast alternatives too.
Putlocker-Sockshare convert it to lower size i think
So fear their less usefull as it messes up the encoders work
But there are more fast stream sites as alternative

great job so far guys !!!! too bad we're stuck in a tight spot now.. in terms of file hosts i guess rapidshare is the only one that allows you to download consecutively without a time delay but they've reduced their speeds. all other file sharing sites are pretty much the same.. what you choose should be according to your convenience. if you could consider setting up an ftp server it would be great. you are against torrents but its still one of the download modes which works. also i am sure single links for every upload along with the old ones would be greatly appreciated. are you still accepting requests to reupload dead links ?

Hi UNiTED team. I appreciate all of your effort and work you have put in to this site and continue to make it better all of the time. One concept I think would be cool is for some of the users with commercial connections to be able to give you bandwidth. We could write code that would allow sharing of multi-part files. This would work in sort of a torrent way or Napster if you will. Certain individuals can sign up if they meet the the set rules and allocate an always on dedicated link to a behind the scene proxy and even have a md5 checksum. Basically build a private network and if it's multi part have each person involved only hosting 1 of the parts. Thus it would take 7 different users to download 1 movie. This way you are not individually hosting illegal content from your own system. The individuals chosen could have an ftp server running that will serve up the file when called on. It wouldn't be that hard to code and the ftp could actually be set up to be automatically synchronized when you put up a rip.
Or we can just donate via paypal. :)

For all those who ask for torrent hosts. Torrent is extremely dangerous. In the Netherlands they have foundation Brein for example. They can leech a torrent and then see the ip of the ones who are seeding the torrent. Thats enough prove to legally mess you up. Sure you can use proxies to hide your ip or use peerguard. But still it's not save cos your ip number is shown and we can't expect everyone to work with proxies as not everyone understands how to do that. So i think it's much better for our safety that there are no torrents here. My opinion about torrent use.

I love your guys' releases, but the times means I've given up on using file hosts, which unfortunately made your releases collateral damage (even when I tried the takedowns have been way too fast lately). I've just seen a couple comments here on Usenet, but I just wanted to chime in here - I would love to see you use this option as well. The filehosts are dead in the water for now IMHO.
Usenet would automatically get you roughly four years retention across a number of pro mirrors. Takedowns still happen occasionally, but this will typically not affect all mirrors, so the content is still available.
I assume part of the reason for using filehosts is some of them provide some sort of monetary kickback to the team based on paid downloaders. This couldn't be reproduced with Usenet directly, but you could create an nzb indexing service for United releases and users could kick you some money for access to the nzb files. Users who don't pay could still access the content, but they would need to find the files on Usenet either directly or via some third party Usenet Indexer. nzb's are the equivalent to links in the Usenet world, and subject to the exact same safe harbor provisions.

Yeah, I hadn't checked and wasn't entirely sure if any of the current filehosting crop were doing that - I know some of the now defunct ones were. In any case if a monetary kickback isn't one of the major drivers I would think Usenet posting is going to be at least as private as a filehost, if not more so. The automatic mirroring/retention is nice as well. Providing nzb's based on a membership/donation can then help fund the team.

Re-encoding movies is a far more time consuming project than you can imagine. And they don't just host this site. They have costs to pay for an encoding server, and for a server to store backups. You don't necessarily have to believe any of this for it to be true. It's perfectly fine if you want to live in your own little realm where P2P is free and people do everything for nothing, but, well, there are costs to cover.
I would be shooting in the dark if I was just about anyone else, but I host this blog, the encoding server, and the backup server. I pay the bills and I know exactly how much scorp makes and how much he pays. If he does make a little extra over the costs he pays, I would say that's pretty much well deserved taking into consideration the time he puts into these encodes. He's been at it for a very long time now, so maybe instead of just dissing him here, a little respect will go a long way.
Alternatively, you could just ignore this site altogether and pretend it doesn't exist?

I have a petition in advance. I used to download my tv shows from a site that isn't currently running (I don't know why).
You do a very good rips of some tv shows but they came a several days later than when first aired.
I ask you if you will do us the favor of ripping Game of Thrones S2 immediately after airing (or some time in the next day)... It's premiere is on April 1st.

Can you upload you encodes to other filehosts? the filehosts you use is very crappy and time consuming for free users to download..... jumbofiles and mediafire are the best options for free users..

First of all, thanks for awesome quality movies guys. From video, audio and even subtitle.
To be honest I don't know at all about you guys, but after I saw The Negotiator (given by my brother) its so freaking awesome quality both video and audio, even the subtitle style playing nice with my font of choice.
I don't care where I must download (rs, df, etc) all of your releases as long as I know that I can still download your release.

MBU team....I agree with the idea of adding MF to the selection of links but keep ones like RS. I seriously don't agree with some of the suggestions to go torrent, for those that don't know or understand your IP is actually logged when you use torrents making it easy to track you. Yes yes I hear you say, use a proxy blah blah...a proxy will actually slow your connection down and bearing in mind it wasn't very long ago that a couple of the torrent sites were hit with "viruses"....and you still want MBU to have torrent??? You jest, surely. I wouldn't go near torrent sites with a ten foot barge pole :)
MBU - you do a great job with the movies, small file size means less bandwidth used for those with limitations. I applaud that greatly. Oh and zippyshare is good too, however, with all filehosts to be able to upload respectably, it means getting premium, and really at the end of the day, warez was supposed to be a FREE sharing idea. Obviously, some like yourselves need to make enough to cover things like upto date software for the encoding, and fixes to audio and visual so that can't be taken away from you.
Keep going the way you are, thats what I say.

But it was only great till filesonic existed. cant download movies anymore from your site due my limited bandwidth n non-availability of mirrored file hosts.
I also do understand that some mirrored host deleting files daily from there servers so its difficult to keep up with them.
I really hope n request you to add mirrored file host Like Mediafire or Uploading.com so that me and few like us who cant afford good speeds from our isp's can watch your rips. Rest you are doing great.

Furthermore, it's hard to understand your needs, so if you need it, then do it... People will understand, and if they don't, they'll leave, but I don't think your popularity will decrease with just an ad.

I dont understand all the complain poeple refering to because I did not have any problem even with adds while my bandwich is not great ,
but it seems download links not working not because of add simply http://ld.rtify.com/ is down . pls if there is any way to fix it asap.
I can not download anything during month because of data usage charge, but it,s free 2,3 days end of the month I wanted to download war horse , girl with dragon tatto, iron lady , Descendants, extremely loud ,.... lol I hope it fixed before end of the month .

scOrp with reference to your 180 comment...you forget, some people want something for nothing. Nevermind, thinking about how time consuming it is to re-encode, the software used, uploading times, making sure the links don't die, storage for backups when the links do die etc.
Some people are just spoilt brats, who don't actually appreciate what others do, in order for them to get something free.

Its a great site...
- You can bluntly ask those who have issues with the advertisements to stop using this website. Such thankless individuals are not required. if they can wait for 2-3 hrs to download a movie why not 8-10 seconds for the website to load. It is not as if they are going to lose a better part of their life.
- A link required where we can send our finds on the internet (new/old movies etc). This would reduce your work. This could actually be kept side by side of the Request link.
- Go for the ADs again. Your hardwork should get rewarded.

again UPDATING that MEDIAFIRE bans accounts in a jiffy and blocks the IPs , so there is no point using it as after just 20 uploads they are in the habit of banning accounts as per complaints.
New Years Eve is RSG : although its p2p and had been done with a lower bitrate the quality would have been similar for the re encodes.

Very great effort no doubt, i visit here regularly, whenever i need any good movie with great resolution, i come here and advice others too.. I guess Ads are now necessary to keep up the expenses, as long as they are not malicious. My request is to post more Hollywood movies, more regularly i mean.. otherwise, you guys are doing a marvelous job!

If i'm not wrong i think RC isn't the better copy for BluRay, or what do you think! & is it 85 min is the full time or 88 min for Underworld as IMDB says 88 min not 85 min...!

MPAA going after all cyberlockers so it's best to think of another channel. Torrents also getting a close scrutiny, not to mention the voluntary closure of BTJunkie.
Either develop a new comms protocol or make use of Dropbox?
Getting really pissed off with MPAA. They are the real pirates, charging consumers an arm and a leg for their movies

@woof...I've tried dropbox, it has limitations and it can still be monitored. I have seen that there will be a new Yahoo messenger out,however, it is geared up for Vista but the good thing about it is you can transfer 1Gb files to others.
There is a new problem now especially in the uk, some of the ISPs lost their fight about not monitoring their customers usage. Thanks to the bloody EuroMPs. Obviously, this monitoring won't start straight away because software has to be created etc. So, I can see my FTP and encodes disappearing by next yr lol Annoying as it is. The MPAA are indeed cowboys and rip everyone off including those they are supposed to be looking out for.
Funny thing, Murdock backing all this stuff and yet he was happy for his newspaper to phone tap private phones...one rule for one and one rule for all the rest. Its complete madness. Even a lot of the artists have spoken out against whats happening, which says it all really.
Thanks for the update on MF scOrp, if thats the case then it really isn't worth uploading to them.
