We would like to know your opinion…

Hey all
As you are aware that we always use 320Kbps Dolby Digital EAC3 audio in our rips..
As we constantly work towards betterment of the rips while keeping them small, as an experiment we have started using 5.1 AAC audio files in our rips since last couple of days.
Kindly share your opinion about the new audio format..

I actually look for the better quality audio rips when possible. Even on cheap soundbars, it’s better. One good equipment, there’s no comparison.

Personally for me the audio is not so important.
I also think that not many people can make the difference or they lack the proper equipment. I watch movies on my TV thru the stereo speakers so it does not make a difference.
It may be relevant for action movies for who has the right sound equipment, but for a drama where is just regular conversation it is not so important.
Video quality and file size are more important as long as the sound is OK.

I second that but I always watch tv with headphones or earbuds to downmix surround to stereo, mainly because of dialogues. Also, at my age, my hearing is not what it used to be so even for music I probably can’t hear the complexities of 320kbps.
