Take the poll regarding resolution and format of WEB-DLs and WEB-Rips !

Personally I would like to do WDLs in x265-1080p with either 2.0 AAC or may be 5.1 DD depending upon kind of content, simply coz they are compressed pretty well and render a very very good quality now that most of the recent equipment can play x265 flawlessly.
The size would roughly be equal or may be slightly higher than a good quality x264-720p rip, but the video quality will be way way way better 😀

    Not sure if anyone else has been having this problem but for some reason 1080p X265 files keep crashing in VLC anyone know of a fix?

    may be you recently updated your codecs or vlc
    there hasnt been any change in encoder settings recently that might lead to that.
    Lets see if anyone else complains of the same
    try playing in <strong><a href="http://potplayer.daum.net/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">pot player</a></strong> i find it 100x better than the bloated VLC

    +1 for Potplayer. Ever since I switched to it, I never looked back.
