First I was skeptical and thought: ugh, just another slasher movie. But I must confess that in terms of thrill and movie design from setting to prosthetics and actors – this flic really works! It is a “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” meets “Battle Royale” in the Australian outback thing. Not highly original, but entertaining. In the end I wished this had been given more than 80 minutes. The filmmakers could have added some more story background and could have continued more the leading role’s avenging crusade … Somehow this looks as if a sequel might be expected. Bring it on, then … 😉
