    Question: Why is scorp not moving to x265 on a consistent basis? I have used 300mbunited from the very very early days, and it's disheartening to myself that I'm moving to other sites for x265 stuff.

    Anybody knows why x264 is still the norm here?

    well mate its based upon the number of downloads .
    i have many a times in past tried posting one rip both in x264 and x265 and every-time the x264 downloads have been more than 3 to 4 times.
    Secondly most of the users of my downloads are from regions where x264 still rules.
