This documentary (or shall I say mockumentary) takes us back to a time when people were very fond of investigations on paranormal activities. The mise en scene here reflects (or stylishly imitates) the visual style of silent movies and gothic horror, yet it provides quite an overdose so that sometimes you gotta laugh about the people portrayed here who believed in a haunted house for years. Still, the movie is an enjoyable piece of art if you love that playfully artificial gothic horror style.
