IMPORTANT – URL now is – 300mbunited.me | kindly follow us on TWITTER as well | some bad news too

A … First up its strange that no one paid attention to the fact that our main url moved to www.300mbunited.me about 2 years back , and as soon as the server upgrade was done at the .com domain host , people didnt know what to do .
KINDLY NOTE our domian link is www.300mbunited.me ,
300mbunited.com also redirects to it now .

B … Please follow us on twitter @ twitter.com/the300mbunited so that you can received proper updates in situations like these.

C … We had an utterly bad incident 3 days back ( around the same time the .com server went down ), we lost our second backup server too , so now we dont have any backup of anything that we ever encoded, the reason was the cheaper facility that we had opted for caved in ( due to the lack of finances )
so now we cant reupload anything , anything at all , we lost huge chunks of personal files as well .

don’t worry scOrp, I have most of your previous encodes since 2011 if you need any. keep up the great work!

very sad indeed! just shows when things are bound to happen they will no matter how many backups one can make.

So sorry to hear about that incident, I know how painful it can be to loose personal files, so much work and time lost and some things can’t be done all over again or anew. As for your work I absolutely agree with Kyth, I’d love to help out and use my uploaded account the other way around this time. So, please feel free to ask for your stuff. 🙂

Kyth

I’m sorry to hear about your mishap, scOrp. On a brighter note though, I’d like to point out that you do have backups to most (if not all) of your previous encodes. It’s all on our hard drives, which kind of makes it a p2p distributed backup solution of sorts.

I think we’d all be more than willing to help out and upload what copies of your encodes each of us has and then you can repack, upload and redistribute them.

Since most of what you put up in previous years was gone anyway, I think re-upping at least some of all that might be in order. It might actually help you increase your traffic and ever so slightly improve your financial status with regards to operating costs.

Sorry to hear that. I hope something like this will not gonna happen again in the future. Thank you for all your hard work.
