it was great to see you guys chasing standards from 300MB to m720p and 1080p. Great choice with RS links it was always best host and when MU went down you was one of few with all active links because of RS.
Can you tell my is it any chance of 5.1 sound in 720p releases ? Its 60MB difference please consider that as move forward

I found myself reeluctant to download anything last week during your absence in anticipation that you’d be back and so you are, your work is impeccable, team!!! My only very neglible issue is the inconsistency in selecting hosts, after Rapidshare throttled their bandidth it’s been hard to download from other hosts, so please please please keep ifiles.it as one of your main hosts, it’s the only fasted one of the hosts you use, Mediafire wouldn’t hurt along with a paypal donate button 🙂

Re-encoding movies is a far more time consuming project than you can imagine. And they don’t just host this site. They have costs to pay for an encoding server, and for a server to store backups. You don’t necessarily have to believe any of this for it to be true. It’s perfectly fine if you want to live in your own little realm where P2P is free and people do everything for nothing, but, well, there are costs to cover.
I would be shooting in the dark if I was just about anyone else, but I host this blog, the encoding server, and the backup server. I pay the bills and I know exactly how much scorp makes and how much he pays. If he does make a little extra over the costs he pays, I would say that’s pretty much well deserved taking into consideration the time he puts into these encodes. He’s been at it for a very long time now, so maybe instead of just dissing him here, a little respect will go a long way.
Alternatively, you could just ignore this site altogether and pretend it doesn’t exist?

It was always about the money! The CRC error excuse to split the files into 100mb links (smaller pieces means more pieces, means more money to the uploader)… smart, uh? PATHETIC. It’s exactly the reason you upload to pay-per-download hosters and you are whining all the time to encourage people buy premium accounts with your referral code with all that ‘support us’ bullshit excuse. And now that several illegal servers have been shut down or don’t pay you no more for your uploads, you filled every fucking page with these disgusting linkbucks ads, even the FUCKING CONTACT FORM. And don’t fucking pull the “we have to pay the server hosting of the webpage” classic bullshit because you got well past the money to afford the server. You probably made the most out of Fileserve and Filesonic hosters.
It’s pretty clear that you DO NOT share, you just upload popular files to MAKE MONEY OUT OF IT. You are a disgrace to the P2P community. I hope the FBI shut your ass down for all your stupid childish lies.

Well, what do u think about adf.ly or some other link shorten site idea? It will still brin in some cash, but jDownloader decrypts the links so must find a solution so everyone clicks on those links, for example iframe.
The the best solution for now im telling ya. The $$$ in fielhosts are gone… Maybe netload.in ?

Thanks scOrp for the response about MF but isn’t there other hosts that don’t require CAPTCHA, i like ul.to speed whilst noy full speed but the CAPTCHA thing is really annoying, can i add hosts that don’t ask for CAPTCHA before downloading each file?

really a big fan of your work. would it be possible to do some posts such as, films that won oscars or baftas, or goya awards, or the razzies. would be great to watch the nominees and the winners. any Spanish films would be great as well, although i know that’s a long shot.

or if people can’t access 1-2 files – get them by email ..

Nevertheless, meantime I started to download releases by Nitro, though they are much worse. Indeed, ul does not work at all. Rapidshare downloads break all the time, and I infinitely restart them. With the Rapidshare maximal speed 30 KB/s the download has become impossible for me.

Yeah, I hadn’t checked and wasn’t entirely sure if any of the current filehosting crop were doing that – I know some of the now defunct ones were. In any case if a monetary kickback isn’t one of the major drivers I would think Usenet posting is going to be at least as private as a filehost, if not more so. The automatic mirroring/retention is nice as well. Providing nzb’s based on a membership/donation can then help fund the team.

The smallish watermark appears for just 30 or 40 seconds during the opening credits ,
Its a requirement so that people can differentiate b/w real UNiTED work and fakes.

I love your guys’ releases, but the times means I’ve given up on using file hosts, which unfortunately made your releases collateral damage (even when I tried the takedowns have been way too fast lately). I’ve just seen a couple comments here on Usenet, but I just wanted to chime in here – I would love to see you use this option as well. The filehosts are dead in the water for now IMHO.
Usenet would automatically get you roughly four years retention across a number of pro mirrors. Takedowns still happen occasionally, but this will typically not affect all mirrors, so the content is still available.
I assume part of the reason for using filehosts is some of them provide some sort of monetary kickback to the team based on paid downloaders. This couldn’t be reproduced with Usenet directly, but you could create an nzb indexing service for United releases and users could kick you some money for access to the nzb files. Users who don’t pay could still access the content, but they would need to find the files on Usenet either directly or via some third party Usenet Indexer. nzb’s are the equivalent to links in the Usenet world, and subject to the exact same safe harbor provisions.

I was wondering what happened to the ripper named suN on this website. He always uploaded great asian movies that i love and i havent seen a single post from him since that week when all the filesharing sites were freaking out and shutting down after the whole megaupload tragedy. Anyways, i just wanted to know if he would still be uploading his rips because the quality was awesome and his selections were great.

also, the links are dying pretty quickly, not sure is someone is repporting them or websites are just removing those, any chance for reuploads? or perhaps You need some uploaders?
For all those who ask for torrent hosts. Torrent is extremely dangerous. In the Netherlands they have foundation Brein for example. They can leech a torrent and then see the ip of the ones who are seeding the torrent. Thats enough prove to legally mess you up. Sure you can use proxies to hide your ip or use peerguard. But still it’s not save cos your ip number is shown and we can’t expect everyone to work with proxies as not everyone understands how to do that. So i think it’s much better for our safety that there are no torrents here. My opinion about torrent use.

Hi UNiTED team. I appreciate all of your effort and work you have put in to this site and continue to make it better all of the time. One concept I think would be cool is for some of the users with commercial connections to be able to give you bandwidth. We could write code that would allow sharing of multi-part files. This would work in sort of a torrent way or Napster if you will. Certain individuals can sign up if they meet the the set rules and allocate an always on dedicated link to a behind the scene proxy and even have a md5 checksum. Basically build a private network and if it’s multi part have each person involved only hosting 1 of the parts. Thus it would take 7 different users to download 1 movie. This way you are not individually hosting illegal content from your own system. The individuals chosen could have an ftp server running that will serve up the file when called on. It wouldn’t be that hard to code and the ftp could actually be set up to be automatically synchronized when you put up a rip.
Or we can just donate via paypal. 🙂

Why arnt you doing like me?
For example i super protect my links via adf.ly
I use only good hosts for free users like jumbouploads, mediafire etc etc…
I dont make much but i dont have a big traffic as you.
Adf.ly -> some text hosts where the links are hosted & password protected.
Cause jdownloader can easily decrypt adf.ly links if not propably protected.
This is like the only way to make cash these days!
I think this would be the best move, cause u are garanteed a income, maybe not big i dont know what traffic u got here 😀

great job so far guys !!!! too bad we’re stuck in a tight spot now.. in terms of file hosts i guess rapidshare is the only one that allows you to download consecutively without a time delay but they’ve reduced their speeds. all other file sharing sites are pretty much the same.. what you choose should be according to your convenience. if you could consider setting up an ftp server it would be great. you are against torrents but its still one of the download modes which works. also i am sure single links for every upload along with the old ones would be greatly appreciated. are you still accepting requests to reupload dead links ?

like turbobit, extabit, (very fast for premium) they are like filesonic, wupload very fast for free users at the moment. rapidshare is slow for free users but fair. shure fileserve and mediafire.. but for how long??

I might be an idea to also use at least 1 streaming host.
We can use Ant Video downloader to grab the file.
And we can have a look to watch it online if we rather do that
zalaa.com ,Putlocker.com , Sockshare.com.
I like zalaa a lot cos that one has file download in free options.
And more than ones it gave me speeds around 1 MB/s
So those hosts can be really fast alternatives too.
Putlocker-Sockshare convert it to lower size i think
So fear their less usefull as it messes up the encoders work
But there are more fast stream sites as alternative
