PLZ NOTE – Its a an experimental rip. Done in 10bit encoding. It might not support most of media players , but you are free to try as i have already added a sample. Do check and leave feedback , if possible do mention the medfia player you used , be a TV or standalone player or anything so that others can get an idea about compatibility.

The quality of your past rips is much better than it was like a couple of years ago. About how long does it take you to encode one film?
well one 720p rip of around 2hrs takes roughly 3.5 to 4.5 hours since 5 ref are being used

Hi, scOrp. The file plays fine in the VLC media player on a desktop, but the quality does not show much of improvement as compared to the ordinary rips: some compression artifacts are noticeable (like color banding and tiling), especially in low light scenes. Maybe it depends on the source. I noted that when others make 10-bit encodings, they use different (and much bigger) sources. I have no idea how they make it. I can send you a link, if you are interested. But anyway, thank you for your hard work, good job!
It was just an experiment , i havent tried any tweaks .
For my settings and scripts to work well, a lot of time and effort will be needed to tweak them for 10 bit stuff.
I still feel the current standard of x264 is optimum if not awesome
BTW last 5 or so x264 720p rips have some different encoder settings , how do you guys find them quality wise …
